The Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) is actively working on final arrangements to accommodate the growing influx of pilgrims. Key efforts include strengthening infrastructure, improving darshan systems, and enhancing safety measures at the four sacred shrines—Badrinath Temple, Kedarnath Temple, Gangotri Temple, and Yamunotri Temple.
To handle the anticipated crowds, officials are introducing structured entry systems and improved monitoring to ensure a seamless darshan process. Facilities such as lodging, transport, and healthcare services are also being upgraded along the yatra routes to provide greater convenience to pilgrims.
Authorities have also issued guidelines encouraging devotees to follow traditional practices and maintain discipline throughout the journey. These measures are aimed at preserving the sanctity of the pilgrimage while ensuring safety.
The state government, in coordination with temple authorities, is implementing various initiatives including road upgrades and digital registration systems to efficiently manage the expected surge in visitors.
With large-scale preparations underway and registrations steadily increasing, Char Dham Yatra 2026 is set to witness one of the highest pilgrim turnouts in recent years.
