The approximate charge for doli to Yamunotri from Janki Chatti shall be INR 3500. However it can change due to the demand in the area.
The approximate charge for a helicopter ride to Kedar shall be INR 9,000 to INR 10,000. The charge for doli to Kedar shall be INR 7000. However they can change due to the demand in the area. The helicopter flight depends on the permission and clearance from Government. Helicopter booking shall be initiated separately 2 months before the departure of the yatra.
Also note that if due to bad weather condition or a landslide, for safety and security reasons of the yatris, the Char Dham yatra is halted, yatris will have to bear extra charges for boarding and lodging for that day or extra charges for return flight tickets.
Tirtha Yatra means sadhu-sanga, hari-katha, vigraha-aradhana, dhama-seva, prasada-sevana, dana-kriya and bhajana. One has to take association of devotees, hear the lilas of Hari, worship the Deity, serve the Lord in the holy place, partake prasadam, give in charity and perform bhajans. The purpose of Tirtha Yatra is to reconnect ourselves with God.
