The group comprises pilgrims from various parts of India, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Noida, Gwalior, Mumbai and Delhi, along with devotees travelling from London. The yatris represent different age groups, ranging from 41 to 71 years, reflecting the diverse group of devotees undertaking this challenging spiritual journey.
Tirtha Yatra has been giving special attention to the preparation and well-being of the pilgrims. As the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra involves travelling through high-altitude regions, yatris have been advised to prepare themselves physically well in advance.
The pilgrims have been encouraged to maintain a regular routine of walking, daily exercise and Surya Namaskara to improve their stamina and help their bodies adjust to the demanding conditions of the journey. They have also been advised to follow a healthy vegetarian diet and maintain proper fitness and hydration.
Beyond arranging the travel logistics, the Tirtha Yatra team is placing emphasis on the comfort, safety and preparedness of every yatri throughout the pilgrimage.
Following the visa approval, the organisation has begun completing the remaining travel documentation and other essential arrangements for the group. With preparations progressing, the 73 pilgrims are now looking forward to embarking on their spiritually significant journey to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar.
Once the travel formalities are completed, the pilgrims are received at Kathmandu Airport, from where their Kailash Mansarovar Yatra begins. The journey takes them through breathtaking landscapes and sacred places, including views of Shishapangma and Gauri Shankar.
One of the most memorable moments of the pilgrimage is the first glimpse of Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash from the Horchu Pass. The yatris then participate in Mansarovar Snana, Puja and Rudrabhisheka before undertaking the sacred Kailash Parikrama.
After completing the Kailash Parikrama, the pilgrims return to Saga and subsequently travel back to Kathmandu. The Tirtha Yatra team ensures that the yatris are safely dropped at Kathmandu Airport according to their respective flight schedules.
