Please note that:
Yatris with a valid passport can only take up the Kailash Mansarovar yatra. For other nationals like USA, Canada, etc, the VISA will be arranged by us on arrival on an additional cost of USD250 for Chinese VISA and USD25 for Nepali VISA.
Yatris will receive more information about the trek and the preparation two months before the date of the departure of the Yatra.
this is the tentative schedule of the Kailash Mansarovar yatra. It may be altered later or during the yatra as deemed fit by the Yatra Director.
Yatris will have to submit a medical fitness certificate before one month of the departure of the yatra. The following tests reports must be submitted: Lipid Profile, BP, Blood Sugar and Pulmonary Test based on which the yatris will trained.
if in any case, yatris are not able to continue for the trek, they will be escorted back to the base camp. They will have to pay additional charges towards the boarding at base camp. Alternatively Yatris can hire porter / pony for the parikrama of Kailash Parvata at an additional cost.
if due to bad weather condition or a landslide, for safety and security reasons of the Yatris, the yatra is halted, Yatris will have to bear additional charges of approximately INR 1500, for boarding and lodging for that day.
if the weather becomes unbearable and doesn’t allow us to move further, the Yatra will return to the base camp keeping the safety and security of the Yatri to be primary. In such a case, Tirtha Yatra team will not be responsible for the halt of the yatra. Yatris will have to bear the charges for the boarding in respective places in case any.
Tirtha Yatra means sadhu-sanga, hari-katha, vigraha-aradhana, dhama-seva, prasada-sevana, dana-kriya and bhajana. One has to take association of devotees, hear the lilas of Hari, worship the Deity, serve the Lord in the holy place, partake prasadam, give in charity and perform bhajans. The purpose of Tirtha Yatra is to reconnect ourselves with God.
