According to Sansthan President Jalindar Maharaj More, this year’s Pandharpur Wari 2026 will begin 19 days later than last year due to Adhik Maas (extra lunar month). Preparations are in full swing to ensure the centuries-old tradition is conducted in a disciplined and devotional manner.
A major highlight of the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi 2026 is the two-day halt at Shri Khattunga Vitthal Temple, Nana Peth, Pune, on July 9 and 10, while all other destinations on the route will have a single-day stay.
The pilgrimage will also feature the traditional Round Ringan ceremonies at Belwadi, Indapur, and Akluj, Standing Ringans at Malinagar, Bajirao Vihir, and Wakhri, and the devotional Run (Dhav) ceremony at Tondle Bondle.
After the Ashadhi Ekadashi 2026 celebrations, the Palkhi will remain in Pandharpur until July 29 before beginning its return journey to Dehu, where it is scheduled to arrive on August 9.
