According to TTD, VIP Break Darshans will remain suspended on the following dates to facilitate the smooth conduct of temple ceremonies. Devotees planning to visit Tirumala during this period are advised to take note of the revised schedule.
VIP Break Darshan Cancellation Schedule
July 2026
- July 14: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam
- July 17: Ani Vara Asthanam
- July 19: Pedda Maryada to Sri Andavan Ashrama Swamiji
- July 29: Jeeyar Swamulas Chaturmasa Sankalpam
- August 22: Ankurarpanam for Pavithrotsavam
- August 24: Pavithra Samarpana (Second Day of Pavithrotsavam)
- September 8: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam ahead of Sri Vari Brahmotsavams
- September 14: Ankurarpanam for Sri Vari Brahmotsavams
- September 15–23: Annual Sri Vari Brahmotsavams
TTD has also informed devotees that VIP recommendation letters will not be accepted on the day preceding each of the above dates, except in the case of protocol dignitaries.
For example, as VIP Break Darshans are cancelled on July 14, recommendation letters will not be accepted on July 13. The same rule applies to all other notified dates.
Devotees Advised to Plan Accordingly
With several major festivals, including Ani Vara Asthanam, Pavithrotsavam, and the annual Sri Vari Brahmotsavams, scheduled during this period, TTD has urged pilgrims to plan their Tirumala visit in advance and make alternative darshan arrangements.
The temple administration has requested devotees to cooperate with the restrictions, which are intended to ensure the smooth and traditional conduct of these important religious events.
