The festival begins with Angurarpanam on July 20, followed by Dwajarohanam (Kodiyetram) on July 21. Throughout the Brahmotsavam, Sri Kallazhagar will be taken in grand processions on various vahanams, including Garuda Vahanam, Hanuman Vahanam, Simha Vahanam, Sesha Vahanam, Yaanai Vahanam, and Thanga Guthirai Vahanam.
The highlight of the festival is the Therottam (Temple Car Festival) on July 29 (Aadi Pournami), along with the special rituals at the Pathinettam Padi Karuppasamy Sannidhi. The celebrations conclude with Theerthavari and Urchava Shanthi, while a special Garuda Vahanam Purappadu will be held on Aadi Amavasai (August 12, 2026).
