The district administration has put comprehensive arrangements in place to ensure a safe and well-organized pilgrimage. Given the high-altitude terrain and unpredictable mountain weather, officials have urged devotees to strictly follow all safety guidelines during the trek.
Online Registration Started on July 28
Pilgrims are required to complete online registration, which commenced on July 28, before undertaking the yatra. The registration process helps authorities monitor the movement of pilgrims and ensures better emergency response in case of adverse weather or other unforeseen situations.
Only 375 Pilgrims Allowed Per Day
To maintain safety and prevent overcrowding along the narrow mountain trail, the administration has capped the number of pilgrims at 375 per day. Entry will be regulated on a first-come, first-served basis for registered devotees.
Weather Will Determine the Yatra
Authorities have clarified that the continuation of the pilgrimage will depend on daily weather conditions. Heavy rainfall, landslides, or other adverse conditions may lead to temporary suspension of the yatra to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
