Trek Status and Key Details
The route is now open for tourists, starting from Mana Village near Badrinath Dham, one of the last inhabited villages close to the India–Tibet border. The trek spans approximately 26 kilometers to Satopanth Lake, with an extended route leading toward the Swargarohini Pass.
Authorities have made permits from Nanda Devi National Park mandatory, along with a compulsory health check due to the extreme altitude and challenging terrain.
