Goa: ISKCON Bengaluru has inaugurated a new Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON in Goa by H.G. Chanchalapathi Dasa to promote Krishna consciousness and spread the glory of Sri Radha Krishna across the state. The temple was inaugurated on Saturday, 8 August 2026, in the Alto-Betim region in Porvorim, Goa.
Though Goa is known for its beaches, entertainment, and vibrant atmosphere, this new addition will further enhance the city’s spiritual ambience.
This serves as a major hub to carry out bhajans, kirtans, spiritual discourses, prayers and other religious activities. Those who want to deepen their understanding of Krishna Consciousness can visit this centre and practise Bhakti Yoga.
H.G. Chanchalapathi Dasa has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the devotees as well as well-wishers who participated in making this event a great success.
ISKCON temples are widely known to promote Sri Krishna Bhakti through the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. It mainly emphasises Bhagavat Gita teachings, eating pure vegetarian food and engaging in devotional service.
Through these programmes, its main motive is to promote Sanatana values and motivate people to include devotional practice as part of their daily activities.
