On October 27, 2025, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that construction of the entire temple complex at Ayodhya is now finished. The declaration marks a historic milestone for the sacred site and millions of devotees.
- The main deity of Ramlalla (Lord Sri Ram) has been installed in the principal shrine, alongside six additional temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Surya Dev, Maa Bhagwati, and Maa Annapurna, plus a temple for Sheshavatar.
- Seven mandapas honouring revered sages — Rishi Valmiki, Rishi Vashishtha, Rishi Vishwamitra, Rishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Shabari, and Devi Ahilya — have been completed.
- Iconic statues of Jatayu and the squirrel (symbols drawn from the Ramayana tradition) have been installed.
- Visitor-friendly infrastructure — including pathways, stone flooring and lighting — has been completed, ensuring the site is ready for pilgrims and tourists.
- Remaining works — such as the 3.5 km boundary wall, a guest house, an auditorium and the Trust office — are classified as non-core and will not delay public access.
With core construction completed, the complex is ready for devotees and visitors in its full architectural and spiritual form. Some non-public infrastructure remains (boundary wall, guest-house, auditorium), but these will not obstruct public access or the main temple experience.
