River Kaveri is highly revered as a mother goddess or Kaveramma, as she is the vital force that nourishes the land of Karnataka. At least once in a lifetime, one must perform Tula Snana on the sacred banks of the divine mother Kaveri to get the blessings of Kaveramma.
