Organized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, this annual event attracts thousands of devotees who gather to witness the symbolic reenactment of the divine wedding in a serene spiritual atmosphere.
During the celebrations, the processional deity Sri Malayappa Swami is taken out in grand processions on different vahanas—Gaja (elephant), Aswa (horse), and Garuda (eagle)—on each day. Meanwhile, Goddess Padmavathi arrives in a beautifully decorated palanquin, marking the divine meeting of the celestial couple.
Key rituals such as Edurukolu (ceremonial welcome), Pula Bantata (flower ball play), and Vastra Dharanam (offering of garments) are performed, symbolizing divine love, joy, and harmony. These traditions hold deep spiritual significance and are believed to bless devotees with prosperity and marital happiness.
Devotees can participate through the Padmavathi Parinayam Seva, with tickets priced at approximately ₹1000 per person. Due to high demand, advance booking is highly recommended.
This sacred festival offers a unique opportunity to witness divine traditions and immerse in the spiritual aura of Tirumala.
