Bengaluru, August 2025: Tirtha Yatra, a leading pilgrimage and spiritual travel organization, has marked a significant milestone by launching its ‘Temples of Bharat’ mobile application for Android users. The launch, held on the auspicious occasion of Radha Ashtami, comes as part of Tirtha Yatra’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
The Temples of Bharat app has been designed as a one-stop solution for devotees to access authentic and updated information about temples across India. With this initiative, Tirtha Yatra aims to bridge the gap between devotees and their sacred places of worship, ensuring that spiritual seekers can remain connected to their faith in a more organized and accessible way.
The first release of the Mobile app includes two primary sections. The News section brings together all updates related to temples across Bharat, eliminating the need for devotees to search through multiple websites for information. Alongside, the Temples Directory provides detailed insights into various temples situated across the sacred land of Bharat, making it easier for users to learn about their history, significance, and rituals.
Nearly 350 temples have been covered in the app already, with new ones being added almost every day. Every information about the temple such as temple timings, best time to visit, its’ rich history has been mentioned in detail. Each article is enriching the spiritual and cultural narrative with stories of devotion, tradition, and sacred heritage for devotees and curious minds alike.
Speaking at the launch event, Sri Agrani Krishna Das, Managing Director of Agrani Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. and Tirtha Yatra, emphasized that this initiative is only the beginning. “The Temples of Bharat app will gradually evolve to include many more features, helping devotees connect more deeply with their ishta devata (personal deity) and their favorite temples,” he said. Future updates are expected to introduce additional interactive services, strengthening the bond between devotees and the temples they revere.
The app was officially unveiled in the presence of Sri Panduranga Das and several dignitaries associated with Tirtha Yatra. Currently available for free download on the Google Play Store, the application is aimed at making spiritual knowledge and temple-related news more accessible to a wider audience.
With this launch, Tirtha Yatra not only commemorates a decade of service to spiritual seekers but also takes a digital step forward in uniting devotees with the timeless temple culture of Bharat.
