Tirtha Yatra proudly announced the Tirtha Yatra Excellence Awards 2025 on the auspicious occasion of Sri Balarama Purnima. These awards are presented annually to recognize and honor the dedication and outstanding service of Tirtha Yatra’s on-field staff, who play a vital role in ensuring a memorable pilgrimage experience for devotees.
The awards are conferred in three categories – Best Yatra Guide, Best Yatra Coordinator, and Best Employee – based on parameters such as service excellence, overall success of the Yatra, and feedback from the pilgrims. The voting process also includes recommendations from Yatris along with inputs from the Supervisory Committee, Yatra Coordinators, and Yatra Guides.
For the year 2025, the Best Yatra Guide Award was presented to Sri Bhaskara S. Rao, and the Best Yatra Coordinator Award was conferred upon Sri Samrat Das. Both awardees received prizes worth INR 60,000 each, in recognition of their exceptional contribution to the success of the Yatras.
In addition to the awards, Tirtha Yatra organized a five-day training and workshop for its Yatra staff at its head office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, from August 6 to 10, 2025. The program was attended by twenty staff members from across India and focused on enhancing hospitality standards, strengthening coordination, and maintaining consistency in service delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa, the Managing Director of Tirtha Yatra, expressed his gratitude to the staff for their tireless service and reaffirmed the management’s commitment to delivering world-class pilgrimage experiences rooted in tradition, devotion, and care.

Congratulations to the yathra guide Bhadkar Rao & yathra coordinatorSamrat das
Well done. It is important to encourage the team members and motivate them. Men requires constant motivation and not just once. In that way, the management is doing the right thing.
But i wish to bring a few points for review.
1. Yathris are a mixture of young, middle and old aged. When we reach a temple, old people need a little more time to reach as we walk. But the guide many time does not wait for all to join and proceed with narration about the place and we miss this many times
2 . Organisation may bring out one page details about the places of each trip, dustributed to yathris during the trip, which will give them more clarity
