Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu: The sacred Aani Thirumanjanam Brahmotsavam 2026 is being celebrated at the renowned Chidambaram Nataraja Temple from June 13 to June 22, 2026. The ten-day festival began with the ceremonial Dwajarohanam (Flag Hoisting) on June 13 and will culminate with the grand Aani Uthira Darshanam and Maha Abhishekam of Lord Nataraja on June 22.
Thousands of devotees are attending the festival, which includes special rituals, Vedic chanting, and daily processions of Lord Nataraja and Goddess Sivakamasundari. The celebrations will culminate with the grand Therottam (Temple Chariot Festival) on June 21.
One of the six annual abhishekam festivals dedicated to Lord Nataraja, Aani Thirumanjanam holds immense significance in the Shaivite tradition and attracts devotees seeking divine blessings and spiritual upliftment.
