Canadian Prime Minister Lauds Telangana’s Yadagirigutta Temple at Ottawa Festival

Ottawa, Canada: The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam was observed with great pomp at Ottawa’s EY Centre, where the Prime Minister of Canada expressed his admiration to the temple authorities and devotees for their efforts in sustaining and promoting Indian cultural and religious traditions abroad.

The celebrations, honoring Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy of Yadagirigutta, are taking place across four provinces in Canada and will continue through September 27. Telangana Endowments Minister Konda Surekha expressed her delight over the international recognition of the Yadagirigutta Temple, calling it a proud achievement for both Telangana and devotees worldwide. “The blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy are now reaching devotees globally,” she remarked. Temple Executive Officer Venkatrao also noted that the initiative has successfully taken the temple’s traditions beyond India, strengthening cultural ties and fostering unity among global communities.

This global acknowledgment is being viewed as an important milestone for the Yadagirigutta Temple, often referred to as Telangana’s own Tirupati, highlighting its spiritual significance and historic appeal.
