To manage the expected surge of pilgrims, mobile registration vans will also be deployed. These vans aim to minimize waiting time and prevent overcrowding at physical counters. Officials have directed all departments to complete arrangements before April 15 to ensure a hassle-free start to the yatra season.
Healthcare and Emergency Services Strengthened
In addition to registration facilities, the Uttarakhand government has sought additional financial assistance from the Centre to enhance Char Dham health facilities 2026. State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat recently met Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda to discuss upgrading medical infrastructure along the pilgrimage routes.
Enhanced arrangements include 108 ambulance services, health screening units, and emergency response teams stationed near key routes leading to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.
With lakhs of devotees expected, the government aims to ensure seamless registration, improved crowd management, and robust healthcare support, making Char Dham Yatra 2026 safe, organized, and pilgrim-friendly.
