Ujjain is situated on the eastern bank of Kshipra River. It was the capital of the Avantika Kingdom. Ujjain is regarded as one of the seven sacred cities or the moksha puris of Bharata and is one of the sites of the world-famous Kumbha Mela. Lord Mahakaleshwar – one of the 12 jyotirlingas is in Ujjain. In this sacred city Lord Krishna got educated under Sandipani Muni. Ujjain is home to many ancient temples.

Yatra coordinator Amit Prabhu was good. Since mainly seniors come a small write up of the place, its significance, in print form if provided would be better.
