A Record-Breaking Celebration at Kanaka Durga Temple
The Kanaka Durga Temple, situated atop Indrakeeladri Hill, served as the spiritual heart of the celebrations. Over 1.8 million devotees visited the temple during the 11-day festival, with peak attendance on special alankaram days.

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department hailed the recognition as a major milestone that will further boost religious and cultural tourism in the state. Authorities have also pledged to develop infrastructure and facilities to accommodate the growing number of visitors in the coming years.
Vijayawada’s Dasara Carnival has set a new benchmark by entering the Guinness World Records for hosting the world’s largest cultural and festive gathering in its inaugural edition.
