This seva, part of the wider Srivari Seva programme, invites devotees to serve at the SV Gosala (cow shelter) in Tirumala, contributing to TTD’s efforts to protect and promote indigenous cow breeds.

What Is Navaneetha Seva?
Navaneetha Seva is a unique volunteer service where sevaks (mainly women) perform traditional “go-seva” (cow service) tasks such as:
- cleaning the goshala premises,
- drawing rangolis,
- feeding fodder to cows,
- churning butter using traditional methods, and
- making cakes or bricks from cow dung to be used as fuel.
This seva aligns with TTD’s broader mission of reviving desi (indigenous) cow breeds and using organic cow-based products (like ghee) for naivedyam (food offerings) in the temple.
