As part of the ongoing development drive, several major projects are in progress, totaling over ₹82 crore. The temple authorities have announced that multiple works are already nearing completion, marking a significant step toward modernizing the ancient shrine while preserving its traditional charm.
The Prasadam Hall, estimated at ₹27 crore, has achieved 60% progress, ensuring devotees will soon have a spacious area to receive prasadam comfortably. Similarly, the Annadanam Hall, built at a cost of ₹30 crore, has also reached 60% completion, promising to accommodate thousands of devotees for community dining.

The Pooja Mandapam, a crucial addition to facilitate religious ceremonies, is 70% complete with an estimated budget of ₹7 crore. To streamline pilgrim movement, an Elevated Queue Complex costing ₹13 crore is being developed, currently at 30% progress.
A new Large Shed spanning 8,000 sq. ft and costing ₹97 lakh is being constructed to provide shelter during peak hours and festive days. In addition, a Stone Yagashala, estimated at ₹5 crore, is underway to host Vedic rituals and homams in a traditional setting.
Temple officials stated that these initiatives are designed to accommodate the growing number of devotees visiting the temple, especially during festivals like Dasara Navaratri, which draws lakhs of pilgrims each year.
Once completed, these projects are expected to redefine the Indrakeeladri Temple’s infrastructure, offering enhanced amenities, smoother pilgrim flow, and a more comfortable spiritual experience — all while maintaining the temple’s sacred and cultural essence.
