To ensure fairness and equal access for devotees, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) introduced the Electronic Lucky Dip, a computerized lottery system that distributes seva tickets in a transparent manner.
The Electronic Lucky Dip, also known as Seva Electronic DIP, is a monthly online lottery conducted by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for sevas at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. Devotees register during a fixed time window, and a computerized system randomly selects applicants. Those selected can then pay and confirm their seva tickets.
Unlike first-come-first-served bookings, the Lucky Dip gives equal chances to all applicants, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process.
Monthly Registration Timeline
The process follows a regular monthly schedule:
- Registration Opens: 18th of every month at 10:00 AM
- Registration Closes: 20th of the month at 10:00 AM
- Results Announcement: Afternoon of the 20th via SMS, email, and the TTD portal
- Payment Window: From the 20th to the 22nd
- Sevas Conducted: From the 21st onward, depending on the allotted date
The lottery includes several sacred rituals at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, such as Suprabatham Seva, Thomala Seva, and Archana Seva. Devotees may also get a chance to attend rare sevas like Astadala Pada Padmaradhana and Nijapada Darshanam. At times, special rituals including Kalyanotsavam, Sahasra
Deepalankarana, and Arjitha Brahmotsavam are also available.
Devotees must log in to the official portal of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and update their profile with valid ID proof such as Aadhaar or passport. During the registration window, select Seva Electronic DIP, add details for up to two devotees, choose the desired sevas and dates, and submit the application. After registration closes, TTD conducts a computerized draw. Selected devotees must complete the payment by the 22nd and download their seva ticket.

Important Guidelines
Devotees must carry the same ID used during registration along with the printed ticket when attending the seva at Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. A strict dress code is followed—dhoti with upper cloth for men and saree or chudidhar with dupatta for women. Registration is free, and payment is required only after selection.
The Electronic Lucky Dip system has made seva booking more transparent and convenient, offering devotees a fair chance to participate in sacred rituals at Tirumala.
