Passengers planning to travel to or from Puri by train between March 11 and May 16, 2026, are advised to check their train schedules before booking tickets. The East Coast Railway has announced temporary changes to several train services due to major infrastructure development work at Puri Railway Station.

According to railway officials, the station is undergoing major modernization work, including the construction of a ballastless track system and the development of Platforms 7 and 8. These upgrades aim to improve passenger safety, station capacity, and operational efficiency, especially for pilgrims visiting the famous Jagannath Temple.
