When it comes to the temple heritage of Karnataka, Hampi is remembered first because of its association to Ramayana and the grand Vijayanagara Empire. A recognized World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Hampi is just a marvel carved on stone. Near Hampi is Mantralaya – the Brundavana of Sri Raghavendra Swami, a celebrated saint and the incarnation of Bhakta Prahlada. It is believed that no one returns from Mantralaya without one’s wish unfulfilled by Swami Raghavendra.
