Mulbagal is located near Avani. This place has been a prominent seat of Sripadaraya. There is a Narasimha Tirtha here which is the manifestation of Ganga. Nearby is Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy Temple. It is believed that Arjuna brought the kapi-dhvaja here and installed the Deity of Lord Hanuman.
