The sages and saints of Bengal have shaped the Bhakti Movement of Sri Krishna’s bhakti too, which sprung 500 years ago. The temples of West Bengal are unique in terms of their peculiar architecture made of Terracotta Tiles. Gangasagar is another pilgrimage site where Mother Ganga meets her final destination – merging in the sea. It is the holiest site where Kapila Muni liberated 60000 sons of Sagara Maharaja. It is said ‘saare tirath baar baar, ganga saagar ek baar’. Every Sanatani must take bath in Gangasagar and purify oneself to achieve the blessings of Mother Ganga.
